Rich Pork Miso Soup

Ingredients

  • 150 = 200 grams Thinly sliced pork or pork belly
  • 1/2 Burdock root
  • 1 large Sweet potato
  • 1/4 Daikon radish
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1/2 Konnyaku
  • 1 Your favorite ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 Dashi stock
  • 1 Miso
  • 1 Ichimi spice
  • grated ginger

Instructions

  1. Cut or slice the ingredients as you like.
  2. I used sweet potato.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a pan and fry the pork.
  4. Add sugar when the pork is almost cooked and continue to fry.
  5. Add and fry the rest of the ingredients and add the dashi stock (I always use dashi powder).
  6. Cook until everything is tender.
  7. After the ingredients are cooked through, add the miso.
  8. Grated ginger will warm you up and ichimi spice will add a bit of spice to the soup.
