Ingredients
- 4 lb red potatoes
- 6 clove fresh chopped garlic (depending on the sizes. if using extra large cloves
- try 4)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Depending on how much skin you like, give the potatoes a partial peel.
- Wash and cut into small pieces.
- Boil potatoes until soft
- Drain, put in bowl and add butter
- Mash potatoes to melt the butter
- Add sour cream, chopped garlic.
- Using electric mixer, whip potatoes until well combined
- Slowly add half and half while still mixing.
- Whip potatoes until creamy with few lumps.
- Season and stir in salt and pepper.
