Ingredients

  • 5 Sardines
  • 400 grams Canned tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 pack Shimeji mushrooms
  • 1 Japanese leek (green part)
  • 3 clove Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 50 ml White wine (if you dont have it, you can use Japanese sake or cooking sake)", "3 tbsp Soy sauce", "2 tbsp Mirin

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sardines.
  2. Cut them into 3~4 pieces each.
  3. Remove the entrails and wash the inside of the fish.
