Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 5 tablespoons chili powder
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- chopped fine
- 48 ounces tomato juice
- 1 lg. can
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 1 sm. can
- 15 ounces red kidney beans
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in pan, stir while it is cooking.
- This will make the meat a nice, fine texture.
- Drain the meat leaving about 2 teaspoons of juice in the meat mixture.
- Next add all the spices and the sugar.
- Cook, stirring, for 3 minute {the fat juice will mix and blend the flavor better}.
- Now add the tomato juice, tomato paste and kidney beans, simmer for about 1 hour.
