Ingredients
- 2 large flour tortillas (8 inch) or pita breads
- or naan bread
- prefer whole wheat
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 4 slices prosciutto thin slice
- 2 ounces mozzarella cheese prefer freshly sliced
- 1/2 cup basil sliced
- 1 x red pepper flakes to taste
- 1 x olive oil
- extra-virgin optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 500F and put the rack in the middle position.
- Lay the flour tortilla on a baking sheet.
- Brush the top with olive oil and spread half the tomato sauce evenly over each tortilla.
- Use just enough of the sauce to evenly coat the tortilla.
- Place the mozzarella slices over the tomato sauce and sprinkle with red pepper flakes to taste.
- Bake the pizzas until the cheese is bubbling and melted, 8 to 10minutes.
- Put the pizza on a working surface, and arrange prosciutto and torn basil leaves on top of the pizza.
- Drizzle with olive oil if needed.
- Cut into wedges and serve warm.
