Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or molasses
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 each eggs
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup flour
- all-purpose white
- 2 cups graham flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening melted
Instructions
- Beat first four ingredients, add soda dissolved in milk.
- Add flour and baking powder sifted together, then shortening.
- Bake in 5x10 inch greased pan for 1 hour in oven 375F (190C).
