Potted Pecan Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • softened
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped celery
  • 2 tbsp beer
  • 2 tsp grated onion
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup cooked chopped shelled shrimp
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • toasted at 350F for 5 to 7 minutes.

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, celery, beer, onion, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Blend well.
  3. Stir in the shrimp and toasted pecans.
  4. Pack the mixture into a serving container, and cover and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour and no longer than 2 days.
  5. Serve this dish with crackers.
