Ingredients
- 5 whole Large Potatoes
- 1 whole Onion
- 2 Tablespoons Plain Flour
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 whole Eggs
- Beaten
Instructions
- Heat some canola (or other plain) oil to prepare for frying.
- Grate the potatoes and drain the juices.
- Grate the onion finely.
- Mix the potatoes, onion, flour, salt and eggs together into a dough.
- With the help of two tablespoons grab a bit of the dough, carefully drop it into the hot oil and flatten it into a patty shape.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Repeat until all dough is gone.
- When each patty is done, remove from the oil and drain on some kitchen paper.
- Serve hot with apple sauce.
