Pork Chop Brown Rice Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 center cut chops
  • 1 c. raw rice
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 1 can water
  • 1 onion
  • minced
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper chops, brown in skillet (do not cook completely just brown), set aside.
  2. Pour raw rice into covered casserole dish.
  3. Pour consomme and water over rice.
  4. Sprinkle onion over top.
  5. Arrange browned chops over this.
  6. Cover.
  7. Cook 35 to 40 min at 400 degrees, or possibly till rice is fluffy.
