Pork and Garlic Shoot Stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Thinly sliced pork
  • 100 grams Garlic shoots
  • 1/2 a stalk Japanese leek (finely chopped)
  • 1 knob Ginger (minced)
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Katakuriko
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 dash Pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the pork into bite-sized pieces, and place them in a bowl.
  2. Add the [A] list ingredients, rub them into the pork, and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Slice the garlic shoots lengthwise into sixths, and blanch in boiling water.
  4. Combine the [B] list ingredients and set aside.
  5. Heat some oil in a frying pan, and fry the finely chopped leek and ginger.
  6. Add the pork and fry over high heat.
  7. When the meat has whitened, add the garlic shoots and stir-fry briskly.
  8. Add the combined [B] list ingredients to the frying pan, and stir-fry quickly over high heat.
  9. Transfer to serving plates and enjoy.
