Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 c. lite corn syrup
- 2 c. dark brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 6-8 quarts. popped corn
Instructions
- Heat butter.
- Stir in sugar, salt and syrup.
- Stir while coming to boil.
- Boil 5 min, without stirring.
- Remove from heat.
- Add in soda, vanilla and stir.
- Put popcorn in large pan and pour mix on.
- Mix well.
- Pile on 2 large cookie sheets.
- Bake 1 hour at 250 degrees.
- Stir every 15 min.
- Cold.
- Break apart and store in air tight container.
- 1 c. unsalted peanuts may be added.
