Polish Beet Soup (Barscz) Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 stick butter
• 5-6 lg. beets
• 1 onion
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 2 tbsp. vinegar
• 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
• 1 pt. lowfat sour cream

2. Bring 1 1/2 qt water to boil.

6. Peel and grate onion and beets.

8. Cook approximately 1/2 hour till beets are cooked.
