Ingredients
- .67 c. apple juice
- 1 tbsp. brandy (optional)
- 1 tsp. maple syrup
- 4 fresh figs
- 4 apricots
- 8 cherries
- 2 tbsp. orange juice
Instructions
- Heat the apple juice in a Dutch oven with the brandy (if using) and the maple syrup.
- Add the figs, apricots, and cherries.
- Bring to a boil, cover, and gently simmer for 5 minutes.
- Lift out the fruit with a slotted spoon and place in a salad bowl.
- Bring the juice back to a boil and reduce to a thick syrup.
- Pour the syrup over the fruit, add the fresh orange juice, and serve with vanilla ice cream, custard, creme fraiche, or soy cream.
