Pineapple Pastry Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 (20 ounce.) can crushed pineapple
- liquid removed
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. water
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 egg yolk
Instructions
- Combine pineapples, sugar and water in saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Dissolve cornstarch in a little cool water and add in to pineapple mix.
- Add in egg yolk.
- Cook, stirring, till thick; then remove from heat.
- Cold to room temperature.
