Ingredients

  • 1 (20 ounce.) can crushed pineapple
  • liquid removed
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Combine pineapples, sugar and water in saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Dissolve cornstarch in a little cool water and add in to pineapple mix.
  4. Add in egg yolk.
  5. Cook, stirring, till thick; then remove from heat.
  6. Cold to room temperature.
