Ingredients
- 1 lb round steak
- 14 cup oil
- 1 garlic clove
- minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 14 cups water
- 1 green pepper
- chopped
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 (8 ounce) jar mushrooms
Instructions
- Cut meat into strips.
- Brown in oil.
- Add garlic and onions and cook until they are yellow.
- Add soy sauce, salt and 1/4 C water.
- Cover and cook 45 minutes on low.
- Slice green pepper into strips.
- Add green pepper and mushrooms to meat, etc.
- Add cornstarch mixed in 1 C water and cook 10 minutes.
- Kitchen Bouquet to color gravy.
- Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
- Can add tomatoes too.
