Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken breast
- poached
- skinned
- boned & diced
- 12 ounce. cream cheese
- room temp.
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- seeded & chopped
- 3 tbsp. minced red onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- chopped
- 1 teaspoon grnd cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1 1/2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 6 med. or possibly sm. pitas
- separated into 2 rounds or possibly flour tortillas
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Combine all ingredients except pitas or possibly tortillas.
- Beat with an electric mixer till blended.
- Spread each pita or possibly tortilla with generous amount of mix.
- Place on cookie sheets and bake till puffed and bubbling, 5 to 7 min.
- Immediately cut into wedges and serve.
