Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 small onion
- chopped King Soopers 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09", "1 clove garlic, minced", "1 can (14.5 oz.) fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth", "1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper", "1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed, softened", "1 lb. penne pasta, uncooked", "1 cup frozen peas", "1/2 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided", "6 slices OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Smoked Ham, chopped
Instructions
- Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 3 to 5 min.
- or until fragrant.
- Add broth and crushed pepper; bring to boil.
- Whisk in Neufchatel; cook and stir on low heat until Neufchatel is melted and sauce is well blended.
- Cook pasta as directed on package just until al dente.
- Meanwhile, stir peas and 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese into sauce; cook 2 to 3 min.
- or until slightly thickened.
- Drain pasta.
- Place in large serving bowl.
- Add sauce; toss to coat.
- Top with ham and remaining Parmesan.
