Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons dark rum
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 bananas
- sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- Vanilla ice cream
- Mint sprigs
- for garnish
Instructions
- In a large saute pan over medium heat, add butter and melt.
- Add brown sugar and stir until melted.
- Remove pan from heat and add rum.
- Return pan to the heat and stir until a light caramel forms.
- Add the bananas and toss to coat.
- Serve over vanilla ice cream and garnish with a sprig of mint.
