Pan-Fried Spring Cabbage with Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Spring cabbage
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 Coarsely ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the cabbage into 4 wedges.
  2. Secure the wedges with toothpicks in about 2 places per wedge so that the leaves don't fall off.
  3. Wash and drain off the excess water from the wedges.
  4. Heat a pan, add olive oil and garlic, and stir-fry over low heat.
  5. Put in the cabbage wedges, and fry over medium-high heat.
  6. Brown both sides of the wedges.
  7. Drizzle soy sauce to finish.
  8. Transfer to serving plates, take out the toothpicks, add plenty of black pepper and enjoy.
