One-Skillet Honey Mustard Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork loin chops (3 oz. each)
  • trimmed of all visible fat Safeway 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2-1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup GREY POUPON Savory Honey Mustard
  • 1 tsp. ground thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 cups MINUTE Brown Rice
  • uncooked
  • 4 cups fresh green beans
  • trimmed
  • 2 fresh pears
  • cored
  • chopped Safeway 1 lb For $1.88 thru 02/09

Instructions

  1. Cook chops in hot oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat for 4 minutes on each side or until browned on both sides.
  2. Sprinkle with salt.
  3. Remove chops from skillet; keep warm.
  4. Add water, mustard, thyme and pepper to skillet; mix well.
  5. Stir in rice.
  6. Bring to boil.
  7. Add beans and pears; stir gently.
  8. Top with chops; cover.
  9. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  10. Simmer 5 minutes.
  11. Remove from heat; stir gently.
  12. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
