Ingredients
- 6 ounces fettuccine pasta
- uncooked
- 3 garlic cloves
- minced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 14-12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 12 cup parmesan cheese
- grated
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except parmesan cheese in a large pot over medium heat.
- You may need to break up the noodles for them to fit in flat.
- Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
- If mixture is too thick, add more half-and-half to get the desired consistency.
- Remove from heat and stir in parmesan cheese.
- Sprinkle with parsley and bacon bits, if desired.
