Oatmeal Whole Wheat Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 12 cup oatmeal
  • 14 cup whole wheat flour
  • 4 tablespoons ground flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons margarine

Instructions

  1. Bowl #1.
  2. Place oats in food processor and grind until fine.
  3. Place in bowl.
  4. Add flour, flax seed, baking powder, cinnamon, and baking soda.
  5. Bowl #2.
  6. Beat egg, add vanilla, water.
  7. Melted butter when cooled add to egg mixture.
  8. Add bowl #2 to #1 and mix.
  9. Let stand a few minutes until thickened.
  10. Prepare as you would normal pancakes.
  11. Makes 4 4-5 inch pancakes.
