Ingredients

  • 1 each garlic cloves sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small pork liver
  • 1 tablespoon ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar granulated
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 10 each peanuts roasted
  • chopped

Instructions

  1. Using medium heat, fry the garlic in the oil.
  2. Add the liver and pork.
  3. Lower the heat and add the tomato paste; stir and add the tuong.
  4. Stir again and add the water and peanut butter.
  5. Raise the heat to medium and add the sugar.
  6. Boil for 1 minute and transfer to a bowl.
  7. Add the sesame seeds to a medium-hot frying pan, stirring constantly until browned.
  8. This should take 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. Add the sesame seeds to the nuoc leo, along with the chopped peanuts.
  10. The sauce can be garnished with thin strips of hot pepper.
