Ingredients

  • 11 cups corn
  • cut off the cob (raw)
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 12-1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 14 cup butter (not margarine)

Instructions

  1. Combine raw corn, sugar, salt, and water in large pot.
  2. Slowly bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add the butter.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Let cool and put desired amount in vacuum bags, dividing the liquid among each package.
  6. Seal and freeze.
