Ingredients
- 1 cup Raisins
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Shortening
- 2 Eggs Beaten
- 1 cup Oatmeal
- 2 cup Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon and Cloves
- 1 cup Nuts (if desired)
Instructions
- Cook raisins til tender.
- Blend sugar an shortening.
- Add beaten eggs and oatmeal.
- Soft together and add flour, soda, bkp, and Cinnamon.
- Add cooked raisins and 5 T of their juice.
- (Nuts)
- Chill batter and then drop from teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Cook at 375F for 15 minutes to make 3 and a half dozen.
