Nancy's Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef
  • cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon Kitchen Bouquet
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 14 teaspoons marjoram
  • 2 pints mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 18 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

Instructions

  1. Mix together beef, Kitchen Bouquet, dry mustard, and marjoram.
  2. Set aside for a few minutes while you slice the mushrooms.
  3. Slice the mushrooms.
  4. Heat oil in electric frying pan or large skillet, add meat.
  5. Brown meat and add mushrooms.
  6. Turn heat down and simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes, until meat is tender.
  7. Add Sour Cream and ketchup.
  8. cook only long enough to heat sour cream and ketchup.
  9. You don't want it to boil.
  10. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  11. Serve over egg noodles (we like wide ones).
