My Family's Carrot Shirishiri (an Okinawan Dish)

Ingredients

  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 can Canned tuna (drained)
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 dash 1 Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp 2 Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp 3 Kombu based dashi stock (granules)
  • 2 Eggs

Instructions

  1. Julienne the carrots (you can easily make clean slices by using a slicer).
  2. Heat oil in a pan, saute the carrots, add in the drained tuna, and then add 1, 2 and 3 ingredients in that order and saute.
  3. Finally, add in the whisked egg, mix combine while cooking, and it is done.
  4. This tastes great on rice!
