Ingredients
- 1 each 100% Whole Wheat Pizza Dough
- prepared (click to view recipe)
- 1 cup marinara sauce or tomato sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese divided
- 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes oil packed
- drained and sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms white button or cremini
- sliced
- optional
- 1/4 cup artichoke hearts marinated
- jared
- sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion halved and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sweet red bell peppers
- roasted slice into strips
- 1/2 cup green olives or black olives
- drained
- pitted and sliced
- 1 x red hot pepper sauce or other brand
- for serving
- optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450F (230C).
- Roll the pizza dough into 12-inch circles or use prepared pizza crust.
- Spread the marinara sauce or tomato sauce over the pizza dough.
- Sprinkle 1/2 mozzarella cheese over sauce.
- Top with sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, red onions, bell peppers, and green olives.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and brown and the cheese melts.
- Cool for a few minutes, cut into wedges.
- Serve warm with some red hot pepper sauce if desired.
