Ingredients
- 5 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 c. butter (3 sticks)
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 Large eggs
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Sift together flour, baking pwdr, and salt.
- Cream butter; add in sugar and beat till light and fluffy.
- Blend in Large eggs and vanilla.
- Add in dry ingredients; mix well.
- Refrigeratedough in refrigerator several hrs or possibly overnight.
- Roll dough out on lightly floured board or possibly pastry cloth to 1/8 inch thickness.
- Cut with floured cookie cutters.
- Place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Sprinkle with decorator sugar.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 min or possibly till delicately brown.
- Cold on rack.
- Decorate with frosting if you like.
- Makes 8 dozen.
