Ingredients
- 6 oz plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 1/2 oz soft margarine
- 3 oz light muscavado sugar
- 5 tbsp caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 egg
- 4 1/2 oz plain chocolate chips
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat until they are well combined.
- Lightly grease 2 baking trays.
- Place tablespoonfuls of the chocolate chip mixture on to the baking trays, spacing them well apart to allow for spreading during cooking.
- Bake in a preheated oven,190C/375F/Gas Mark 5, for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
- when done cooking, carefully transfer them to a wire rack using a palette knife or spatula.
