Ingredients
- 1 12 cups dark chocolate chips
- 23 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 125 g butter
- softened
- 34 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 14 cups bananas
- mashed
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 12 cups flour
- 34 teaspoon baking soda
- 34 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Heat oven to 160C (fan forced) Grease a 20cm square baking pan.
- In a small bowl, combine chocolate chips, cinnamon and brown sugar; set aside.
- Beat butter, sugar, and egg with an electric mixer until fluffy.
- Add bananas, yogurt, and milk, and mix well.
- Using a slotted spoon mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt just until blended.
- Spread slightly more than half of the batter in the pan.
- Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon/chocolate mix.
- Carefully spread the remaining batter over this and then top with the rest of the cinnamon/chocolate mix.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean, about 40 to 50 minutes.
- Cool in pan on a wire rack.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
