Ingredients
- Mediterranean Tapenade
- 1-1/4 qt. onions
- chopped
- 2-1/2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1-1/3 cups olive oil
- 1-1/4 gal. canned plum tomatoes
- drained
- chopped
- 2-2/3 cups A.1. Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce
- 2-2/3 cups canned pitted black olives
- drained
- finely chopped
- 2-2/3 cups pitted Kalamata olives
- finely chopped
- 2-2/3 cups sun-dried tomatoes
- chopped
- 1-1/3 cups capers
- drained
- rinsed
- 1-1/3 cups fresh parsley
- chopped
- 3/4 cup GREY POUPON Classic Dijon Mustard
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
- Burger:
- 48 each ground beef patties (6 oz. each)
- 48 each kaiser rolls
- split
- toasted
- 1 gal. baby spinach leaves
- 48 slices sliced Provolone cheese (1 oz. each) Target 2 For $5.00 thru 02/06
Instructions
- Mediterranean Tapenade Saute onions and garlic in hot oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min.
- or until onions are tender.
- Add remaining ingredients; simmer on low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.
- Keep warm.
- For each serving: Grill 1 patty on medium-high heat 3 to 4 min.
- on each side or until medium doneness (160 degrees F).
- Top with 1 cheese slice; grill until cheese begins to melt.
- Spoon 1 Tbsp.
- Mediterranean Tapenade onto bottom half of roll; top with 1/3 cup spinach, burger and additional 1/4 cup Mediterranean Tapenade.
- Cover with top of roll.
