Ingredients

• 1 pound lean grnd beef
• 3/4 pound pork sausages (remove casings)
• 1/2 teaspoon sage
• 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 c. canned applesauce
• 1 1/2 c. very dry bread crumbs
• 4 twists of pepper mill
