Ingredients
- 23 cup shortening
- 2 23 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 lb canned pumpkin
- 23 cup water
- 3 12 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon clove
- 23 cup nuts
- 23 cup raisins
Instructions
- Cream together sugar and shortening.
- Add eggs, pumpkin and water and mix well.
- Blend in dry ingredients except nuts and raisins.
- Should be thick and light colored.
- Add nuts and raisins.
- Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
- Bake 350 for 65 - 75 minutes.
- Freezes well!
