Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup mixed vegetables (French beans
- carrots
- green peas
- potatoes)
- boiled
- 1 onion
- chopped
- 1 tsp. cumin seeds
- 2 tsp. amchur powder
- 1 tomato
- chopped
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
- 3/4 tsp. chili powder
- 3 tbsp. ghee
- Salt
- to taste
- 6 cloves garlic
- 6 green chilies
- 1 oz. ginger
Instructions
- Cook the dal separately with 2 teacups of water.
- Heat 1-1/2 tbsp.
- ghee, add the onion and cumin seeds and fry for at least 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked dal, boiled vegetables, amchur powder, tomato, turmeric powder, paste and salt, and boil for a few minutes.
- Just before serving, heat the remaining ghee and the chili powder and pour immediately over the dal mixture.
- Serve hot.
