Ingredients
- 1 net weight 300 grams Potatoes
- 80 grams Cake flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 50 grams Butter
- 50 grams Granulated sugar
- 1 Egg
- 100 ml Milk
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 1 Powdered sugar (if you like)
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes, and microwave for about 6 minutes at 500-600 W, then mash them well.
- Preheat the oven for 170C.
- While Step 1 is warm, add the butter and granulated sugar in that order.
- Melt and mix them well each time.
- Add the beaten egg, maple syrup, and milk, and mix well.
- Combine the cake flour and baking powder, and sift them into the bowl.
- Mix with a spatula.
- Pour the batter into the cake pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven preheated to 170C for about 40 minutes.
- When baked, let it cool, then remove from the pan.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.
- Cut into pieces, and serve on a plate.
