Ingredients
- 1 flat iron steak
- 1 cup frozen mango; puree
- 1 cup frozen peaches; puree
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup rum
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 vegetable oil; as needed
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp ancho chile powder
- 2 tsp allspice
- 2 tsp ground coriander seed
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 salt and peppercorn melange
Instructions
- Combine pureed fruits, orange juice, honey, rum, and cayenne pepper.
- Marinate steak overnight.
- Rinse and pat steak dry.
- Coat with enough oil to cover.
- Season with dried spices.
- Grill approximately 5-8 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
