Ingredients
- 1 c. persimmon pulp (can use pumpkin)
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- beaten
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. nuts
- minced
- 1 c. raisins
Instructions
- Beat thoroughly persimmon pulp, soda, sugar and shortening.
- Add in Large eggs.
- Beat well.
- Sift flour, salt and seasonings.
- Add in dry ingredients, nuts and raisins; mix well.
- Drop by spoonful on greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 min.
