Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (15 ounce.) M & M plain or possibly peanut chocolate candies
- 1 c. butter
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. minced nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Coarsely chop 1 1/2 c. candies; reserve remaining for decoration.
- Beat together butter and sugars till light and fluffy; blend in Large eggs and vanilla.
- Add in flour, soda and salt; mix well.
- Stir in minced candies and nuts.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 11 min.
- Remove from oven; immediately press 3 reserved candies into top of each cookie.
- Cold on wire rack.
- Makes about 5 dozen.
