Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (3 ounces) semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened CONDENSED milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract ( I use extra)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (6 ounce) chocolate crumb pie crust
  • 1/2 tsp mint extract
  • 1 several drops green food coloring
  • 11 oz cream cheese
  • softened ( 1 8 ounce package and 1 3 ounce package)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In small sauce pan, melt chips with 1/3 cup of the condensed milk.
  3. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Spread on bottom of pie crust.
  5. With mixer, beat cream cheese in large bowl until fluffy; gradually beat in remaining condensed milk, mint extract, and green food coloring.
  6. Add egg; beat on low speed just until combined.
  7. Place pie crust on baking sheet; place on oven rack.
  8. Carefully pour mint mixture over chocolate layer in pie crust.
  9. Bake 25 minutes or until center is nearly set.
  10. Cool.
  11. Chill at least 3 hours.
  12. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
