Ingredients
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- peeled and french fry cut
- 1 tablespoon Smart Balance light butter spread
- 12 cup nonfat milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- canola oil cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- Rinse potatoes under cold, running water (a colander works well for this); pat dry.
- Spray 9x13 baking dish with canola cooking spray.
- Arrange potatoes in a single layer in baking dish - make sure they don't touch!
- Pour milk over potatoes.
- Drop small pats of Smart Balance light butter spread evenly over potatoes.
- Sprinkle with salt (and pepper, if desired!
- ).
- Cover baking dish with foil
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese evenly over potatoes.
- Replace foil and return to oven for 5 more minutes.
