Ingredients
- 4 Large eggs
- well beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. half & half
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 lg. loaf French bread
- sliced into 10 thick pcs
Instructions
- Mix first 6 ingredients well.
- Soak each slice of bread in mix and place in pans or possibly large casserole dishes.
- Pour remaining mix over bread and allow to soak in refrigerator overnight.
- When ready to serve, saute/fry in butter.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if you like.
