Ingredients
- canola oil (as needed)
- 1 lb beef sirloin (in very this strips)
- 12 teaspoon ginger (grated)
- 6 shallots (minced)
- 14 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons nuoc nam
- 12 cup rice (toasted
- ground)
- 2 green onions (minced)
- 15 leaves cilantro (chopped)
- 15 leaves basil (chopped)
- 15 leaves mint (chopped)
- 1 Thai chile (minced)
- 14 cup dry roasted peanuts (chopped)
- 1 leaf lettuce (separated)
Instructions
- Rub a wok with a little oil.
- Heat until very hot.
- Add beef.
- Sear 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the ginger and shallots.
- Cook 30 seconds.
- Stir in lime juice, nuoc nam and rice.
- Arrange meat mix and the rest decoratively on a platter.
- Let each person make rolls with a lettuce leaf and fillings.
