Ingredients
- 2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen lima beans
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp. butter
- margarine
- melted
Instructions
- Cook beans as directed on package.
- Drain well.
- In the same saucepan, fry bacon until crisp.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Reserve drippings.
- In reserved bacon drippings, saute onion until tender.
- Stir in cheese soup and sour cream.
- Add beans and crumbled bacon.
- Mix well.
- Continue cooking until heated through.
- Brown bread crumbs in butter.
- To serve, top beans with toasted crumbs.
