Lemon Fritters
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- all-purpose
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 each eggs
- 1 dash salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- all-purpose
- 1 pint water
- 1 x lemon extract
Instructions
- Mix and drop by the teaspoonfuls into deep fat.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Dressing (or sauce): Combine in a saucepan and cook until thick.
- Pour over the fritters.
