Ingredients
- 225 grams Flour
- 110 grams Castor sugar
- 250 grams Soft butter
- 225 grams Maizena
Instructions
- Sift maizena and flour together
- Add castor sugar
- Rub butter into the dry ingredients and knead until a stiff dough its formed
- Press dough into a 20 x 29cm greased baking tray
- Mark the slices lightly and prick with a fork
- Bake at 150C for 50 minutes
- Once baked, drench the shortbread with castor sugar
- Cut the shortbread into squares
- Allow to cool and then enjoy
