Kansas Green Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw rice
- 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 lg. green bell pepper
- minced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. grated onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- to taste
Instructions
- Cook rice according to rice directions, adding parsley during the last five minutes of cooking.
- Keep warm.
- Saute green bell pepper in butter until tender.
- Add green bell pepper, grated onion and salt to the rice.
- Stir well; serve hot.
