Ingredients
- 1 cup onion
- diced fine
- 2 tablespoons garlic cloves
- minced
- 14 cup canola oil
- 1 12 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 12 teaspoon kosher salt (to taste)
- 2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper
- 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 14 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 34 cup yellow mustard
- 14 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
Instructions
- 1.)
- Heat oil & onion 10 minutes on medium heat, add garlic 5 minutes more.
- 2.)
- Add dry ingredients simmer 5 minutes more, add liquid & cover.
- 3.)
- Simmer 45 minutes on low heat & let cool slightly & blend until smooth.
- 4.)
- Refrigerate 24 hours before use.
