Ingredients
- 1/4 cups Flour
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 2 whole Jalapenos
- Sliced
- Canola Oil
- Enough To Cover The Bottom Of Your Frying Pan
- 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
- 1/4 teaspoons Lemon Juice
- 1/2 whole Chipotle (in Adobo Sauce) Minced
- 4 slices Bread
- 6 slices Deli Turkey Breast
- 6 slices Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- For the fried jalapenos:
- Heat some oil in a large frying pan.
- While the oil heats up, combine flour, salt, pepper and milk in a small bowl to form batter.
- Dip each jalapeno slice in the batter and then add them into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 30 seconds per side.
- Place on a paper towel to drain and let cool.
- For the chipotle aioli:
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
- For the assembly:
- Put two slices of bread on your work surface and top with aioli, turkey, cheddar, and jalapenos, then add the top slices of bread.
- Press the sandwich together, then cook on your panini press according to manufacturers instructions.
- Serve warm, and enjoy!
