Ingredients
- 500 grams Roe (i used sardine)
- 4 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder (can be substituted with 3 tsp paprika and 1 tsp cayenne pepper)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt (you can add as per your taste)
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1 few curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp garam masala(optional)
- 2 tbsp Oil to fry
Instructions
- Mix the Roe with kashmiri chilly powder , turmeric powder, salt and garam masala (dont add pepper) and let it stay for 5 min
- Heat oil in a frying pan and add curry leaves.
- Then add roe and fry on low flame for 15 min.
- Then add pepper powder.
- Stir occassionally and fry both sides till its crunchy
- Towards the end garnish with cillantro or mint leaves (optional) and serve
- Warning : use low flame for safety..
- Can be had as snacks or with rice..
- Taste excellent!
